Making a DAF Contribution

These are general steps to start giving using a DAF account and the process may be different depending on your financial institution.

Create a DAF account with your investment company.
Log into your DAF Portal: Access your account through your investment company
Search for the Charity: Navigate to the "Recommend a Grant" section. You can search by the charity’s name, location, or EIN (Employer Identification Number).
Specify the Amount: Enter the amount you wish to donate. Most sponsors have a minimum grant requirement, often around $50 to $100.
Choose Designation or Anonymity: Decide if you want the gift to be used for a specific purpose (like a specific program or capital campaign) or for general operating support. You can also elect to remain anonymous to the charity.
