During the growing season, OTMDC patients and staff have enjoyed very fresh vegetables and herbs delivered weekly from Williamsburg Community Growers. WCG is also a 501(c)(3) organization whose vision is to grow Williamsburg's healthy community food ecosystem.  It operates a community garden and experimental teaching farm on a 10-acre parcel located less than three miles from Olde Towne. It has been a wonderful opportunity for patients and staff to get to know each other in new ways and find out who could identify vegetables and who knows how to cook them. We want to especially thank WCG volunteer Robert Burns and SHIP (School Health Initiative Program) for their ideas and support.
