Olde Towne Medical & Dental Center (OTMDC) was formed in 1993 to address the needs of Greater Williamsburg's uninsured and medically underserved residents. It was established as a public-private, non-profit, 501(c)3 agency with a mission "to provide quality, cost-effective, coordinated and preventative primary health care to clients, regardless of ability to pay."

Today, OTMDC is a Federally Qualified Rural Health Center operated as a family practice led by an Executive Director, Medical Director, Clinical Director and Dental Director. In addition to the five nurse practitioners providing primary and urgent care services and an obstetrician gynecologist providing prenatal and specialty gynecology care, there is a team of wonderful volunteers, medical assistants, dental assistants and patient advocates working with the front desk, checkout and business office staff who facilitate care for our patients. 

 

The phrase we all know at OTMDC is  "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work."
