Patient Advocacy Services &
Medication Access Program
Patient Advocacy Services
Our patient advocate specialists help our established patients navigate the medical system in several different ways. This can include helping them:
get prescription medications at the lowest cost and/or through manufacturer programs.
apply for Medicaid.
choose the best Medicaid plan for their needs.
understand communications from Medicaid.
navigate other insurance products available to them.
You can contact our team directly to discuss eligibility and make an appointment. Call 757-259-3258 and ask for our Patient Advocacy Specialists.
We encourage all patients with prescription medications to look at the excellent resource of Goodrx to get an idea of the spectrum of medication costs in the local area.
Medication Access Program - MAP
This program helps eligible established patients obtain some brand name medications at no charge directly from medication companies. Eligibility requirements typically include being uninsured or underinsured with no prescription coverage. There are some exceptions for patients with Medicare coverage.
Access to Medications - AMP
Olde Towne has partnered with RxPartnership for the Access to Medications Program (AMP) to help provide low cost generic medication to eligible established patients.
To maintain our participation eligibility a photo ID will be required of every patient in the AMP program.
